Ostrander Day Hello Everyone! Ostrander Day is just one week away — Saturday, May 30th! You might be asking, “What is Ostrander Day?” Ostrander Day is our only fundraiser we do each year for the OYAA baseball and softball program. Over the last few years, you have probably noticed many of the improvements we’ve made to our ballpark, including: Rebuilt concession stand Rebuilt front field shed Walking path from the front field to the back field Improvements to the back field Rebuilt front field Lights added to the front field Dugouts at the Scioto field New equipment Three new pitching mounds …and the list goes on! Every dollar raised goes directly back into our baseball and softball program. None of these improvements would have been possible without the support of our amazing community. This year, we have some great raffles planned! One raffle gives you the chance to win over $1,000 in prizes. You can find all the information here . Please note that any tips go directly to the Zeffy platform and not to OYAA, and tipping is not required. We will also have: A 50/50 raffle (last year’s winner took home over $500!) A golf foursome at The Country Club at Muirfield A one-night stay at Embassy Suites Dublin A Bambu Lab 3D printer Free Leb’s Pizza House for a year These day-of raffles will be available on Ostrander Day. Tickets are: $5 for 1 ticket $20 for 5 tickets We will also be serving Dan Kurtz’s world-famous pulled pork and Lebs pizza house pizza in the concession stand! Ask for Jalapeno’s on the pulled pork Nachos! To make this event successful, we will need lots of volunteers throughout the day. If you are able to help, please sign up HERE . Only a few spots remain for sign-ups. We will be limiting teams to minimize issues with scheduling and conflict on our 2 fields. The board is working on alternative options for additional practices to be held on other fields so please be patient as we work through those challenges. Go Ostrander!

The OYAA Board members have been hard at work preparing for the new season. This includes a fresh new look to our site! Due to the expansion of the program to include an extended season for fall ball and hopes of further opportunities we’re planning ahead. The new site will allow us to simplify the registration process and streamline communication to coaches, players and parents through a consolidated system. Get highlights, schedules and stats all in one place. Keep this new site bookmarked as we’ll be removing the old one soon. Keep checking back for updates!
